Encounter from: Abbey

Hello! Well we got to see Sara again today. I got really sun burnt but its worth it. Lets get the review started.

SONGS SHE SANG (not in order):

• "Swingin Doors" (Merle Haggard tune).
• "Walk Out Backwards" (she waved at me durin this song)
• "Only Time Will Tell"
• "Cryin Game"
• "Three Chords and the Truth"
• "Shame About That" (one of my faves)
• "Long Train Runnin" (Band Introduction song. It's a Doobie Brothers tune) "No Place That Far" (It was cool to hear the crowd sing along)
• "Fool, I'm A Woman" (the radio station here is finally playin it)
• "The Knot Came Untied" (she usually says this might be her next single but she said she always likes to have a waltz on her CD. I guess this is a waltz..never knew it was)
• "Cupid" (the bass player did the little YEAH that George does on the CD I thought it was cute. hehe)

THE PROBLEMS:

She had to do some things different since she didn't have a steel guitar player. She had a new drummer too. I missed his name. But Sara just had a heck of a week. She had Fan Fair all week and then she said she couldn't get a bus for her show yesterday in Wisconsin. I feel bad for those who didn't get to see her. She was funny when she said she just had to make out to Columbus cause Columbus is her favorite city. hehe. That had the crowd cheerin and yes I was cheerin too of course. hehe. Also the sound was great. No feed back this time.

PREGNANT:

She did do her little "I'm pregnant if ya haven't noticed" thing. Which you gotta love. Then she never did this last Saturday. Her Guess What the baby will be game. This is where Ashley comes out with her and helps. She put her hands up like her arms were an arrow on a meter would be, you know what I'm talkin about?. Well Sara says what do you think I'll have a boy or girl. Who says Boy? cheers. Who says Girl? even more cheers. Girl won! I think she'll have a girl. Oh yeah tomorrow she'll be 8 months pregnant.

BAREFOOT:

If you saw Sara at Fan Fair then you know about her outfit. She had on the orange dress and the shoes that would bother her. Well she told us about that and then people in the crowd told her to just take her shoes off. Then funny Sara said "Then I'd be barefoot and pregnant!"

TAKE IT OFF:

Well at first Sara had on a little net like shirt over her ORANGE dress.. she got hot and she said "I gotta take this thing off." The guys scream.. WOOHOO. She says "Did I tell you I was pregnant?" haha! That was funny!

BABY FAN:

Then some guy came up and asked her if he could get a picture of his cute little baby girl with her. She of course got the baby and Sara and the baby got their picture taken. The baby was so cute too. It was cute! My picture won't turn out so great but it's cute.

PICKIN ON ASH:

Sara did a little big sister pickin on. Ashley is gettin married July 3rd, and Sara just had to pick on lil sis cause she's marryin a young guy (only 2 years). His name is Zach.

SIZE 22..IT FITS:

Well then Sara did some pickin on herself. Since she will be of course the bridesmaid for Ashley's weddin. Back when they were tryin on dresses she didn't know how big she'd get so she got a size 22. Well she laughed and said "Fits Fine!" Which makes her feel big. She laughed.

BACKSTAGE:

I thought backstage was a lot more fun this time. Thanks to Shawn for lettin us go. Sara remembered us from Saturday. Silly me forgot to tell her my name so at least this time she remembered to ask it. hehe. I was going to tell her cause I noticed after the meet n greet I didn't even tell her my name. We showed her and Craig the picture of her singin in 1997 when Craig was in her band. Craig said he wants a copy. Which of course we'll give him one. The picture is on the webpage autographed by Sara and Craig. Sara was real nice and sweet and I got my picture taken with her. I still forgot to tell her good luck with the baby. Well maybe in October when we see her she'll have the baby with her. It sure will be a cute baby.
