While many of the biggest acts aren't touring this year, there are still plenty of exciting shows to attend. This will be a multi-part feature that I will add to when I know more details of tours. I'll be spotlighting some of the more popular country concert tours, telling who is playing where and when.

Probably the biggest tour this year will be the George Strait Country Music Festival. The event will hit 16 cities throughout the United States, and feature Asleep At The Wheel, Sara Evans, Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Womack, Lonestar, Alan Jackson, and of course George Strait himself.

That lovable redhead, Jo Dee Messina will be making her first headlining tour this year, along with opening act Rascal Flatts.

Alan Jackson will be playing some dates prior to joining the George Strait Country Festival.

Charlie Daniels will bring the Volunteer Jam Tour out again with the Dickey Betts Band, .38 Special, and just added Trent Summar and the New Row Mob.
