CMA Awards 2001 Recap

Island recording artist Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow sang a duet from Willie's upcoming album called "I'll Be There For You." The sound was horrible. They didn't sound like they were in synch, and the music was too loud. The very worst part of the show.

Arista recording artist and CMA Male Vocalist nominee Brad Paisley performed his latest single, "Wrapped Around." He was dressed in white t-shirt and jeans and his band was wearing camoflauge shirts.

MCA recording artist Reba McEntire performed her latest single, "I'm A Survivor."

Reba looked classy as always in a long brown dress that sparkled here and there. She was also surrounded by smoke effects.

MCA recording artist and CMA Male Vocalist and CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee George Strait performed his latest single, "Run." He wore blue jeans and a blue shirt with a white jacket and a red tie.

Curb recording artist Jo Dee Messina and Lyric Street recording group Rascal Flatts came out to present the CMA Male Vocalist award. Rascal Flatt member Jay DeMarcus mentioned that they were touring with Jo Dee and made a point to thank Jo Dee for being the closer to their show. Toby Keith accepting 'Male Vocalist' award
