Country Tours for 2002
Here are some of the interesting tours from 2002, plus the concert grosses, when available.
- Kenny Chesney took his "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" tour, which ranked #1 in Country tours, and 18th overall. ($22 million)
- Toby Keith went out on the "Unleashed" tour which was 19th overall in concert grosses. ($21.3 million)
- George Strait took to the arenas this time with opening act Jo Dee Messina, was 22nd overall. ($19 million)
- Brooks & Dunn hit the road with another installment of the "Neon Circus" and came in 23rd overall. ($19 million)
- Alan Jackson toured with various opening acts, including newcomer Joe Nichols, and came in 24th overall. ($18.7 million)
- Mark Chesnutt joined buddies Tracy Lawrence and Joe Diffie for the "Rockin' Roadhouse Tour."
- Rhett Akins, Wade Hayes and Daryle Singletary went out on the "Honky Tonk Tailgate Tour."
- Trace Adkins and Darryl Worley joined together for the "Big Men of Country: Size Matters" Tour.
- Brad Paisley headlined the first CMT Most Wanted Live Tour. Along with Brad, there were a variety of opening acts with Steve Azar, Chris Cagle, Tammy Cochran, Andy Griggs, Steve Holy, Shannon Lawson, Pinmonkey, Tommy Shane Steiner and Darryl Worley.
