Cledus Facts
- The release of Cledus's second disc on Monument Records titled, CLEDUS ENVY is set to hit stores on April 30th. The project features special guest performances by Vince Gill, Diamond Rio and Phil Vassar.
- Returning for a second year of coast to coast touring with Brooks & Dunn as a part of their top selling The Neon Circus & Wild West Show starting April 12th throughout the summer. Judd plays emcee for the entire show and perform his popular parody hits.
- Bad Breath (a parody of Faith Hill's mega-hit Breathe) will be the first
single from the new disc. The hilarious video features the former WWF
wrestler,Rena Mero, better known to fans as the beautiful, SABLE.
- The Georgia native just filmed a TV pilot for an outrageous game show on CMT
(Country Music Television: a sister company of MTV/VHI) where he handles
hosting duties with his own unique style & humor.
- Cledus's first major label disc on Monument Records JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARODIES debuted at # 25 on Billboard's Country Album chart his highest debut. The album held the # 1 spot on the Billboard Comedy Album chart for 18 consecutive weeks. Judd's four albums have scanned over 1 million copies.
- His first Monument album featured special guest appearances by John Anderson and Brad Paisley. Country stars who have made appearances in Judd's previous videos include Vince Gill, Joe Diffie, Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Buck Owens, Deana Carter, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels and Chad Brock.
- Every Light In The House Is Blown won CMT's Independent Video Of The Year and was voted one of the Top 20 Fan Favorite Videos for 1998. If Shania Were Mine won CMT's Independent Video Of The Year in 1996
- Judd was nominated for Favorite Male Newcomer,Funniest Country Performer, Favorite Video for If Shania Were Mine, and Favorite Video Entertainer in Country Weekly's Golden Pick Awards in 1997.
- Judd was a nominee for CMT's Male Video Artist of the Year 2000
- A skilled and avid golfer, Judd recently (3/24/01) hit a Hole-In-One on a Par 4 at the Cartersville (his hometown) Country Club annual spring tournament, a feat not easily accomplished by an amateur.
