"I Swear To You," is a ballad of promise, unconditional togetherness, and love after a painful breakup occurs. Even though the man cannot promise that she will never be hurt again, he knows he will always be there to hold her hand and see her through the storm "through the tears, all through the years." Written by Mark McGuinn and Trey Matthews, the up-tempo "Only Perfect" is the man's perspective of what he thinks when the girl talks down about herself. Even though the girl is very self-conscious about herself, the man thinks she is "only the prettiest thing he's ever laid his eyes on." Women strive to look as best they can, often setting too many expectations on themselves and end up being late for a date; the man in the song completely understands that and will always believe that his girlfriend is "only incredible, only unbelievable." In the fun song, "The Great Love Of 1998," a girl that moved in next-door turned friendship into a blossoming love. In only a year's time, that relationship went from "bottle rockets in the sky" to "she was gone and I was numb, starin' out at the damage done." The song shows us just how much a couple can stand strong together in the beginning, only to end up apart and lonely in the very end. "Getting' The Feelin'" is a funky tune that features some rather "digitized" voices sprinkled throughout the normal sounding vocals and harmonica-laden music. The song's message is that not everything happening in the world is bad, that is only what you see on the television or hear on the news. The last song is extremely positive and tells us to put our hearts fully into what we are going to do, reach into the depths of our soul, and "Dream Large." Song List:
