I saw Garth Brooks on February 1, 1995. I saw him at the LAX airport going to Nashville. He was waiting to get on the plane as I was. He saw me wearing a Garth shirt and hat. I was about 20 feet from him. When he saw what I was wearing, he walked up to me. But I didn't say anything. I stood there like I was frozen. He was so nice. I went to Nashville to visit. I went to the Garth Store. I bought shirts, hats, keychains and many other items of Garth's. The day before I left to go home, I went to see his house. I waited for 15 minutes and he pulls up and got out of his truck and signed some stuff I wanted him to sign. I also got a picture of Garth and I together. I had seen him at Jay Leno's Tonight show several times. Three weeks ago my sister, who works for a local resturant and a couple of her co-workers went to a bar in Agoura, CA and Garth was there. He was friendly. He was sitting there and talking to everyone. Of course it was Kareoke night, and people wanted him to sing a ssong, but he refused. I guess he didn't to bother singing. He just wanted to be himself, and away from the concerts and stuff. |
