What is Fan Fair? Fan Fair is an annual festival where fans can meet many of their favorite country music stars for autographs and photos. The festival is currently in its 28th year, and attendance continues to grow each year. How do I get tickets? Fan Fair tickets cost $90.00, and you have access to over 30 hours of stage shows, as well as Exhibit Halls where the stars have their booths. Fans have the opportunity to meet the stars and get autographs and photos. Also included are two bbq lunches, a one-day admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium, and discounts to other local attractions. There are acres of FREE parking at the fairgrounds. There are four ways to get tickets.
How long does Fan Fair last? Fan Fair itself runs Monday through Friday. What else is there to do? If you come a day early, you can attend The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, which is held at Greer Stadium in Nashville, TN. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster at (615) 255-9600, or online. They are $15, and $17. (Fan Fair admission does not include admission to this event. Stars meet head to head in a softball game, and proceeds go to the City of Hope. Sunday evening is also the date for the 33rd IFCO Fun Fest. The show is held at the Ryman Auditorium, and lasts for about three hours, starting at 7:30 pm, with the cost of $30.00 per person. Some of the stars that will be appearing at this year's Fun Fest include: Charlie Daniels (w/special guest, Carolyn Corlew), The Bellamy Brothers, John Berry, Paul Brandt, Lynn Anderson, David Ball, Jeff Carson, Dick Hardwick, Eric Heatherly, Paul Overstreet, Michael Peterson, Blake Shelton, Sisters Wade, and Wild Horses. On Wednesday evening, the IFCO hosts its third annual Shindig Party. It's held at the Castle Door, at 115 16th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. (Doors open at 4:30 pm) There's fun, food and entertainment, and free parking too. The show is hosted by Victoria Shaw and Bob Locknar, with Jeff Carson, Billy Hoffman, and Trini Triggs. Tickets for the Shindig are $25.00 per person, and can be ordered online. The Country Weekly Presents the TNN Music Awards show will be held on Thursday night starting at 7:00 pm, at the Gaylord Entertainment Center (formerly Nashville Arena.) You can order tickets online from Ticketmaster, or by calling (615) 255-9600. Ticket prices are from $25.00 - $100.00 per person. How do I get tickets to the Opry? The Grand Old Opry has shows on Friday and Saturday evenings. If you'd like to take in a show on either Friday, the 16th, or Saturday, the 17th, you'll need to reserve tickets ahead of time. You can do so by calling (615) 889-3060. There are two shows each on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm. How about hotel and dining information? There are many other things to do in the Nashville area. There is also the option to buy tickets to the IFCO Fun Fest, Celebrity Softball Game, Superstar Shows, TNN/Country Weekly Awards Show, Grand Ole Opry, and ground transportation (from certain hotels).
