Well, it seems Garth has made his choice on which team to play with this spring. He'll be playing in Port St. Lucie, FL with the New York Mets.
I've created this page for those of you that may wish to make a journey to see Garth this spring. I'm basing this mainly on those who aren't local to Port St. Lucie, but there is information on the stadium, tickets, etc., so there should be something for everyone.
Air, Hotel, and Car Information
The closest airport seems to be West Palm Beach, or Melbourne. Both are 50 miles from Port St. Lucie.

Again, you can book your air and hotel here, as well as a rental car. Searching here for Port St. Lucie I found the Holiday Inn Port St. Lucie available for $139.00 for 2 double beds, or $149.00 including breakfast for two.
Priceline
If you're on a budget, and don't have a preference over your flights, other than what day you want to travel, Priceline might be the way to go. You choose a price, and if a national airline will meet your price, they will book your flight. The only bad thing is, you HAVE to use these tickets now. You can't give them to someone or sell them. They also will book hotels for you. You choose one through four star hotel, then give your rate per night and they will find someone to meet it. Then you check back in an hour and see if you got your tickets or room.

Book your hotel and/or car here. They also have air/hotel packages. The only hotel they have listed in Port St. Lucie is the Holiday Inn Port St. Lucie, which is also the team hotel. I checked some dates in February, and it seems to run 189.00 a night. The freeform pool with cascading waterfall sounds nice, but I dunno about 189.00 a night.
