A Country Christmas at Opryland

Experience all-out holiday cheer at this seasonal extravaganza

At Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, more than 3 million twinkle lights cast a warm glow on "A Country Christmas," the holiday extravaganza that justifies stretching the celebration from mid-November through the New Year. This Nashville icon charms children with appearances by beloved storybook and cartoon characters, Build-a-Bear workshops, photo ops with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating, snow tubing, and gingerbread houses. Adults can get into the spirit of the season with an outdoor Nativity, holiday cruises on the Cumberland River, and non-stop fun. Hotel packages include accommodations and event passes.

ICE!

This whimsical winter wonderland of interactive ice sculptures and displays — some larger-than-life — comes to life with a new theme each year. In 2018, look for "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" with four two-story tall ice slides and a frozen Nativity.
