Charley Prides new album, "A Tribute To Jim Reeves" is just awesome. The two have been compared many times in the years since Charley's career began because of the fact that Chet Atkins discovered both men, and the fact that Charley and Jim share a gift for singing a song with such a smooth emotional style.

"Jim Reeves was just so smooth I was always a fan of his music and way back when I was singing in the clubs I always sang some Jim Reeves tunes. When he sang, man it was inspiring. I always sing his songs in my shows. This album comes from the heart, from my respect for Jim and my love of his music." - Charley Pride

"Is It Really Over" is a sad tune about the end of a relationship"

I love how Charley sings the opening notes of "Guilty." He starts out low "I've Been Accused Convicted And Condemmed And All I'm Guilty Of Is Loving You."

"I Love You Because" has always been one of my favorite Jim Reeves songs. To me it says what a true love song should. "I Love You Because You're You."

"He'll Have To Go" is just an absolutely timeless classic. Who doesn't know what song the line "Put Your Sweet Lips A Little Closer To The Phone" comes from?

"Four Walls" is just the ultimate mournful classic country song of a man all alone seeking comfort.

"Welcome To My World" is a classic country gem that Charley does an awesome job with.

"Am I Losing You" has always been one of my favorite songs because of the tinkling piano notes.
