Just a note to let you know all of us Canadian fans are hoping that you are feeling better soon. Your son and his music have affected the world so greatly and we all know where he got his talent. I remember Garth introducing you and Ray at the Hamilton concert in 96 (that long ago?). He sure is proud of his folks. It's so great to see that in this day and age. It makes us all realize how important family really is.

Thank you for raising a wonderful and great man, a loving son, husband and father. You've been a big inspiration to Garth and to all of us because you have to be a magnificent person to raise someone like that. You're a hero to every Garth Brooks fan and I know that deep inside we all hope one day we'll be at least one tenth of a person you are. I am just another fan of your son who wishes you well in your time of trouble. Your son's music and message mean so much to me. His words can help any human being through almost anything. He is even part of the reason why the most important person in the world to me loves me. It is so obvious that when he sings he has so much more purpose behind his music than just to make a lot of money and become super-popular. He wants to make the world a better place. And from what I have heard, you are the same way. It is one of my dreams to someday hear some of your music. Miss Brooks, your family has touched the lives of so many people, I know that you have enough good will and prayer behind you to help you through whatever may be wrong. You are wonderful.
