We fans have been praying for your speedy recovery and I hope this card finds you on the mend. It has been apparent to those that have seen or heard Garth recently that this may not be your average run of the mill illness. It is with all my heart that I pray to the Lord that he lets you remain with your family and friends (both personal and we who are fans of your beloved son, Garth) for a good long time.

I have seen what the power of prayer can do. Someone in our family who was pronounced by the medical field as terminal with a very short time to live has recovered completely and have the doctor's scratching their heads. So, Mama Brooks, you are in my prayers on a daily basis. May you be back on the tour with Garth real soon. I have not had the opportunity to run into you at one of the four concerts I have been to. Perhaps we will meet in the not too distant future...I will be in Vegas on the 15th.
