It is very rare that I listen to an album and really like every song. This is one of those rare albums. Mike Walker is fantastic. He has been singing since the age of five when he learned to work his mom's record player. "She only had two records at the time - Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty. They taught me how to sing," Mike says. You can definitely hear their influence in his music. This album is a cool blend of tender ballads, rock and roll, and good old Memphis style Blues.

"Honey Do" is an upbeat, rockin' country tune that I am just crazy about! It makes me want to dust off my cowboy boots and start country dancing again. This is the first single and video release from the album.

Mike Walker calls "Stones In The Road" one of the most inspirational songs that he has ever heard. I say that "Stones" is Mike at his tender best. I am sure in years to come that this will become one of his signature tunes.

"This Is That" opens with an awesome guitar and fiddle intro that I just cannot get out of my head. "This is that. You and I have got a heart-poundin, ground-breakin', breath-takin' love I thought I would never have. The kind of love you give and don't take back. This is that." Mike sings this tune with such emotion in his voice. If I had to pick a favorite song from the album, this would be it.

"Who's Your Daddy" is an attitude-infused country rock tune. It makes me want to sing along and then put my hands on my hips, stomp my foot and yell "HEY!". This song is rather chauvinistic, but as this is Mike's first album I will forgive him (just this once). The growl at the beginning and end of the song is kind of cute. For those of you who are fans of the rock group Bon Jovi, Mike sounds a lot like Jon Bon Jovi in this tune.

"See If I Care" is a tune that fans of the late Conway Twitty will love. If I didn't know who was singing this song, I would swear that it was a previously unreleased cut from Conway. This song is "CHOICE."

"What Kind Of Love" is a song that was written by Roy Orbison, Rodney Crowell, and Will Jennings.

"Rub It In" is an updated hard-rockin country version of the classic Billy Crash Craddock tune. Again, he adds that little growl of his to the end of the song and I love it.

"If There's A Chance To Say I Love You" is a song that Mike calls the "ultimate love ballad." This song is along the lines of Garth Brooks' "If Tomorrow Never Comes." You never know when you will see someone you love for the last time, don't let things go undone and unsaid.
