Over 8,000 competitors tried out, and 12 finalists were chosen to compete for the chance to win a recording contract with Sony Nashville, with their record produced by country superstar Clint Black.

Each week, you can watch the contestants as they perform live from the Roy Acuff Theater in Nashville. Besides watching the performances, get an inside look at the contestants lives as they reside together in a Nashville home. So, in effect, it's a little bit "American Idol," along with a little bit "Big Brother," to go with it.

The show will be hosted by Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell, and the judges are recording artist Charlie Robison, country music journalist Robert K. Oermann, and Sony marketing consultant Tracy Gershon. Plus, each week you can vote for your favorite contestant.

• Kristen Kissling - 22 year-old preschool teacher from Austin, TX.
• Miranda Lambert - 19 year-old singer/songwriter from Lindale, TX.
• John Arthur Martinez - 41 year-old owner of a small record label from Marble Falls, TX.
• Anne Louise Blythe - 24 year-old waitress from Nashville, TN.
• Amy Chappelll - 27 year-old singer/songwriter from Nashville, TN.
• Buddy Jewell - 41 year-old professional demo singer from Antioch, TN.
• Travis Howard - 32 year-old singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, CA.
• Brandon Silveira - 24 year-old farmer and songwriter from Hanford, CA.
• Tasha Valentine - 21 year-old part-time Patsy Cline impersonator from Phoenix, AZ.
• Jamey Garner - 32 year-old performer from New York City, NY.
• Brandi Gibson - 21 year-old emergency dispatch operator from Arlington, KY.
