song will never let "Jezebel" steal her guy away from her without a fuss or a fight. "He's not yours, yet" she proclaims as she strolls on down to his house to get him back in her arms again.
Brad Paisley joins Chely in the lovely song, "One Night In Las Vegas," which is about them going through many hard times and how they did not know if they would make it through, but they did. Their night in Las Vegas is one of their fondest memories. "Love Doesn't Listen" has a powerful message of how everyone comes from different backgrounds and places but just because two people come from different walks of life that does not mean they cannot love one another. I am sure that "Horoscope" would be a great choice as a future single because of how many people can relate to it. She stops by the newsstand every morning to get the paper, the guy there thinks she is "just another news junkie" but we learn that she only buys it to read the horoscopes so she can "check up" on her old boyfriend without having to actually talk to him. What she does is check out the Scorpio horoscope and then Capricorn's to see if he has found someone or will in the future. In "Not As In Love," the lady gets wrapped up in romantic couples in the movies and decides she wants her relationships to be more like those on the big screen. "I want the earth to move, I want bells to ring, and when he walks in the room I wanna hear angels sing... I'm not as in love as I'd like to be." She knows that she and her man are in love, but everyone at one point in time wants a relationship to have more substance and this is the phase she is going through. Although I have liked all of Chely's songs that were played on the radio, I never bought her albums for one reason or another, but after listening to her latest I feel like it was dumb of me to not scoop them up right away - it is that good, and so is she. Hearing Brad Paisley sing with her makes me wish that they would do a duet album together sometime soon. Song List:
