"Hope Chest" is probably my most favorite song on the album. There is a line "A Little Girl Is Only A Little Girl For A Little While. One Day We'll Turn Around And She'll Be Gone," that is especially heart tugging for me at the moment as I am getting to watch two very special girls by the names of Caitlin and Amanda growing up way too fast. It features one of my most favorite bluegrass singers on backup, Alison Krauss. "New Way Out" featuring Emmylou Harris and Trisha Yearwood on background vocals is a great song that I take to mean, "just how do you end a relationship, in a way that no one gets hurt?" "One Less Rose In Texas" is an uptempo two-step style song that Miss Page does most excellently with Suzy Boggus singing backup. "Could I Have This Dance," made famous by Anne Murray in the late 1970s and featured in the movie Urban Cowboy, is redone beautifully by Miss Page. As an added surprise it features Kathy Mattea on background vocals. "Paper Dolls" is a most excellent song, about being yourself and being comfortable with it. It is a very positive message for today's women. "Where Have You Been," written by Jon Vezner (Kathy Mattea's husband), has always been one of my favorite songs. If I have the story right, he wrote it for his grandparents. About their life together and the love they shared. We should all be so lucky to be blessed with a love like theirs. "Tennessee Waltz." What can I say about this country standard that hasn't been said a million times, at least? Everytime I hear it is like the first time. It always goes straight to my heart and brings tears to my eyes. There is an added bonus to this version, a very beautiful violin solo at the very end of the song. Song List:
