tribute to the kind of country music I grew up singing in Australia. It is just a great women's song and I love the vulnerability in it. There is so much 'I am woman hear me roar' material out there and a lot of women are scared to do songs that show any weakness, but we are not all superwomen all the time."3. "Goin', Goin', Gone" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Jon Christopher Davis) "We wrote this awhile ago, but it didn't fit on my other records because it's very country. It's a real old-fashioned, heart-wrenching painful song. We wrote it with Jon Davis about a woman realizing her relationship is over and it's time for her to go. It's hard core country and I hadn't been able to do anything like that on my other records because they were more on the contemporary site.4. "Somethin' Missin' in the Kissin'" (Sherié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Blair Daly) "This is another one of those titles that just popped into my head. It's also another really traditional country song. I've been doing this one live out on the road for the last year and women go berserk over it. We had a lot of fun writing it, so much that we overwrote the song. We had five verses and it was 10 minutes long, so we had to make it three minutes. It's a song about how a guy left a girl, or she left him, you never really know. She's tried out a few guys but there's always something missing in the kissing."5. "In the Meantime" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Rob Crosby) "I had been writing by myself one night and I had this idea of people getting up every morning, making coffee and going through their routine. Once again, it's exploring that theme of you don't always get what you want, but sometimes what you get is better than what you might have gotten. You get what you need."6. "My Brilliant Mistake" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Greg Barnhill) "This is just about screwing up royally and liking the mistake. Finding somebody who might not be good for you, but it turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to you."7. "Love Melts Even the Coldest Hearts" (Sherrié Austin and Shawna Harrington-Burkhardt) "This is a song that I wanted on the last record but it didn't really fit. It's a song I've always believed in. We wrote that song about four years ago and it's just a sweet love song about how love conquers all."8. "Back Where I Belong" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux, Phillip Sweet and Kimberly Roads) "It's about coming back to love, finding love again, realizing that you really love someone that perhaps you have betrayed and you are sorry for everything. You are able to go back, admit you are wrong and make up.9. "In Our Own Sweet Time" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Marcus Hummon) "This is my little rebellious song. No one is going to make us do anything. We're going to do it in our own sweet time, when we get around to it."10. "Time, Love & Money" (Sherrié Austin, Will Rambeaux and Dave Berg) "I'm the queen of collecting titles. I have a notebook of three pages full of just hooks and titles. I don't even know where they come from. But among all those titles its funny how often this subject has come up and this year in my writing. It's about never being satisfied. It's like we can never get enough, and when we get it, we're still not happy; there's always another goal to reach. Having the time off, not being on a label, I felt like I had the chance to breathe again, and take a long look inside myself and try to figure out why we do some of the crazy things we do."
