The beginning music in "I've Forgotten How You Feel" is very reminiscent of Patty Loveless' song "Timber, I'm Falling in Love," but the subject matter is quite different. The lady wants her man to remind her how his touch makes her feel because they have been drifting apart. She doubts his love but still yearns for him to tell her that her heart will belong to him forever. The next song is absolutely my favorite from the Sonya Isaacs Album. It is the up-tempo "That's What Love Demands." In between her trills and wide vocal range you hear Annie Roboff, Georgia Middleman, and Bob DiPiero's fun, yet all too truthful lyrics. "You've got to take a leap and let your feelings show. Just loosen up and you'll get used to letting go." Not only does Vince Gill co-write the next one, "Let's Not Lose Each Other Anymore," he also sings harmony with Sonya in this ballad. It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful Mr. Gill can sound with other Artists. He has a pleasant, nice voice that does not overpower Sonya's. She is the main focus and Vince does not try to "take over" the song. The song is about a couple that has made mistakes and said some things they should not have. One day they realize that life is short and they want to spend the rest of their years together. "But after all those years and all those tears. Through it all we always found a way." "How Can I Forget" is the latest video making its way into homes via the Country Music channels. It is also my second favorite song from this album. I especially love the echo on some of the words because it gives a bit of a "haunting" sound to go along with the "You still haunt my heart, just like a ghost" portion of the lyrics. "Barefoot in the Grass" is a St. Jude's Children's Hospital theme song. It is very touching and makes me teary every time I listen to it. There is so much emotion her voice in especially this tune. Watch out Lonestar, "On My Way To You" could be some serious competition in the ballad song field. The lady would go through all the pains and aches again, just to be where she is today (with her man). The journey might have been tough but had she not taken it, she would not have become as strong.
