Looking at the insert for this CD, I noticed right away 5 of the 11 songs on it were written or co-written by Tim. I've been a fan of Little Texas since they hit the big times in 1991, but I didn't know the man was a songwriter. This got me thinking, so I pulled out all the old CDs, and I only found one where he's credited as a co-writer. This tells me he took his time refining this talent, and it can be heard clearly in songs like "Then There's Me," "The Package," and "That's How It's Gonna Be." Where "She Misses Him" and "The Package" are serious, other songs on the album deal with real life in a much lighter manner. "In The Meantime" tells of a couple that started out with big dreams of fame, she as a ballerina he as a professional athlete. In the end "ain't it funny, ain't it fine how life goes on in the meantime." In "Everything To You" the man wants to know all the little details about his new girl friend, her likes and dislikes so he'll know what it'll take to be her everything. My favorite on the album is "Crazy Life." It talks about the chaos we all face living today. It's a fun song, but it has a deeper message to live life to the fullest. Three years after the members of Little Texas went their separate ways; Tim has come back to the music scene with an album that displays a new maturity, a talent for song writing, and the same fun loving attitude from his past.
