After about a 20 minute intermission where the crew broke down the stage and reset it for Trace's show, the lights went down and Trace hit the stage singing "(This Ain't No) Thinkin' Thing." Just like in the video, Trace does sway as he sings the song, and the women go crazy for his hip swaying action.

The following song was "Big Time." Trace then told everyone he has the "California crud." He says he always seems to get sick when he's here. It sure didn't affect his singing though. He sounded terrific. Especially on those low low notes he hits. Wow!

One of my favorite Trace Adkins songs was next, "The Rest Of Mine." He wrote that song for his wife, Rhonda. Then, he moved the tempo up with "Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone."

Trace had a bit of fun with the next song, "Long Tall Texan." He said he's been singing it in clubs for years. Following that, he introduced the members of his band.

Next, Trace brought Darryl Worley back on the stage and they sang a cover of the Moe Bandy/Joe Stampley hit, "Just Good Ol' Boys." Before Darryl left, he said he was supposed to leave, but he was gonna stay out there for a few more minutes, to which Trace replied "Get your butt off stage." Darryl then said he just wanted to say that Trace hurt his back the other night and he couldn't walk, and here he is out here entertaining everyone, and give him a hand. Then, he left, and Trace said he'd explain how he hurt his back. He said "You know Darryl's guitar player? He's a big boy. Anyway, I was backstage and he came and gave me a hug and lifted me up and nearly broke my ribs, and then I hugged him back and lifted him up and that's how I hurt my back.

Trace then decided to remove his long duster, calling out "Time Out," then removing it and handing it to a stagehand. He then said that California is so strict on where you can smoke and where you can't that he's had to resort to chewing tobacco. He said California is hard on my teeth. Then, that lead into a funny song, "Copenhagen." I think I heard Chris LeDoux sing that song before, too.

Next, Trace sang "I Left Something Turned On At Home," then "Every Light in the House is On." He then sang a melody with Merle Haggard's "Runnin' Kind," and Marshall Tucker Band's "Heard It In a Love Song," which was pretty cool.

Trace told us about his latest album, which he named Chrome, and he explained that if it didn't sell Gold or Platinum, it would still be Chrome. Then, he sang his latest single, which is the title cut of that album.

One of my favorite Trace Adkins songs was next with "I'm Tryin'." Then, his last song was a song from Chrome, called "Scream."

Everyone stood and cheered and Trace did come back for an encore where he sang a song that I think was called "I Hope That You Feel The Same." He told us that he was going to the Persian Gulf for the holidays, and he would tell them "hey" from us.

Trace puts on a great show, as did Darryl before him. I'd sure like to see him nominated more often for awards, cuz he really is talented and deserves more recognition.

Here's Trace's full set list:
