Take one listen to "Unleashed Live" and you will find out what country music is all about. Charlie Robison, Bruce Robison, and Jack Ingram pour their heart and soul out to the audience through their voices and guitars. This album was taped live at the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas. Unlike many live albums, this one has a great mix of the music and the audience's applause.

Each artist sings four songs, and Bruce Robison starts off with a song called "The Good Life," which is a good one to sing to get the audience going and pumped up for a night of great music.

"Rayne, Louisiana" is my favorite song on this album because of the fact that it is with both Bruce and Charlie Robison. It is a slow tempo song full of soul, and has a harmony that only siblings could produce (does not sound "forced" like some I have heard with others).

Bruce's wife, Kelly Willis, joins him on "Angry All The Time."

The last song performed by Bruce Robison is entitled "Red Letter Day," and is ideal for grabbing your partner and dancing your way across the floor. "The way she done me it ain't fair, I think I'm losing all my hair, I pay the price, for the life that I chose. It's a red letter day for the blues."

On the next four songs Bruce's big brother Charlie takes over and sings songs from his "Life of the Party" album. "My Hometown" is about his home town of Bandera, Texas, and how he will always come back because that is where it all began. You can hear how the crowd just loves him as they sing along.

"Barlight" is one of Charlie's most widely known tunes, and is highly recommended as one to dance to. When he wrote this song he incorporated a nursery rhyme and turned into an action filled Honky Tonk song. The video for this song has him playing at a club and between shots of him driving around Las Vegas, you see people dancing around by him.

Jack Ingram is full of action and ready to go with rockin' "Mustang Burn." In this song he doesn't care about what anyone thinks and says "It ain't none of my concern, I'm just watching your Mustang burn."

In song number ten Jack wants to "Work This Out" and make things right.

Closing up the album is another rockin' song, "Barbie Doll," which audiences love to sing along to. This song talks about a girl that goes around breaking hearts and being rude to men, and he says "She's real good looking but she's got no heart at all."

I have seen Charlie Robison live before, and this is the next best thing to being at one of these artist's concerts. If you love good music then you will enjoy this wonderful album.
