Alan Jackson - When Somebody Loves You
Alan proves on When Somebody Loves You, his 12th album, that he has the stuff that country music legends are made of. There really are no new country music singers that can move me the way he does. From the top of his white hat, to the soles of his white cowboy boots,
Alan Jackson is just a good ol' country boy.
From the first notes of the honky tonk style shuffler "Meat And Potatoes Man," and the
plaintive pleading of the title track to the new southern pride anthem's "It's Alright To Be A Redneck," and "Where I Come From," this is just a great album.
Alan Jackson first came onto the country music scene in the late 1980s. With his long gangly legs and music style that is reminiscent of his idol Hank Williams, Alan has helped put the country back into our music.
