Guide Review
Alan Jackson - Honky Tonk Christmas
Alan has put out an album with a bunch of varied song styles here from the beautiful duet with Alison Krauss, ("Angels Cried,") and the cut made possible through the wonders of technology, ("There's a New Kid in Town.") Then add to that his fun duet with the Chipmunks, ("Santa's Gonna Come in a Pickup Truck,") and you have an enjoyable collection of Christmas songs.

Alan covers the classic Merle Haggard song, "If We Make it Through December" and adds his own style to it. Then, he makes his Christmas wishes known as he laments "I Only Want You for Christmas"

There's no mistaking the honky tonk flair of this album. If you're in the mood for a real "country" Christmas album, this one's the one you want to pick up.
