Collin Raye - All I Can Be
Bursting on the Country Music scene in the early 90s, Collin Raye instantly positioned himself with Vince Gill as one of the best crooners in the genre. While the first single, "All I Can Be (Is A Sweet Memory)" was a Top 20 hit at Billboard, it was the second single, "Love, Me" which became what some still would consider his signature song. Written about a life-long marriage, the singer's grandparents, the song resonated with fans enough to become Collin's first Billboard No. 1 hit.
"Every Second" was the last single off of All I Can Be and became another Top 5 hit, actually number two, and would've been a No. 1 hit had it not been for Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart." Other standout tracks on this Epic Records release include "Faithful Old Flame," "Any Old Stretch Of Blacktop," and "Blue Magic."
If you are looking for a solid debut from one of the 1990's best male vocalists, look no further than Collin Raye's fine All I Can Be.
