Guide Review
Cledus T. Judd - Just Another Day In Parodies
Cledus T. Judd is one of the best, in my opinion, at musical parody, and this album is no exception. This is Cledus' first release since coming over to Sony from the small label "Razor and Tie," and he's chosen songs by fellow label-mates, the Dixie Chicks and even mentions Billy Ray Cyrus and Billy Gilman in another original song.

It's a difficult task to pick a favorite here. They're all so darn funny. But the original, "The Record Deal" has to be the funniest of the bunch. It starts out, "In 1993, an overweight, non-singing, bleached blond young man moved to Nashville in search of a record deal. Here is his story..." He goes on to sing "I'm never gonna get me a record deal. I got Janet Reno's sex appeal, and my bootie just won't shake like Billy Ray Cyrus."

So get yourself in the mood to laugh and laugh as you listen to this CD. And when you're done, if your sides are sore, don't say I didn't warn ya.
