Little Texas - Big Time
While Little Texas did release a somewhat successful debut record titled "First Time For Everything," their second album "Big Time" really did hit the "Big Time." Their first single from the collection was the smooth ballad "What Might Have Been." While the song hit number two at country, it did bring in some new country music fans after it became a Pop music Top 40 hit.
The second single was the line dancing classic, "God Blessed Texas." An uptempo ode to the band's home in Texas and who lives there, the song became a top five hit. The third single, "My Love," also was the first to feature band member Brady Seals on vocals (Tim Rushlow sang the others). It was also their first No. 1 hit.
With the three biggest hits and their only multi-platinum record to date, Big Time is Little Texas' best album and a great indication of what type of band they were. This CD's a worthy investment to add to any country fan's collection.
