Faith Hill - Breathe
Faith Hill's previous album, Faith, introduced her into the world of pop with her "This Kiss" single and garnered her a spot at VH1 Divas Live. I am sure that everyone in the world of Country and Adult Contemporary were waiting for "Breathe," and most expectations were met.
The "Breathe" single (which was the first to be released) shot straight to number one on the Country and AC charts and stayed there for six weeks, while her duet with hubby Tim McGraw, "Let's Make Love," also went to number one as well as "The Way You Love Me," a song that stayed at number one for four weeks. "If My Heart Had Wings" made it to the number six spot.
Currently being played on the radio is the Gospel-sounding "There Will Come A Day," a song that touches us and gives hope in the wake of the September 11th tragedy with its poignant lyrics: "The darkness will be gone, the weak shall be strong. Hold on to your faith - there will come a day."
