Buck Owens - Young Buck: The Complete Pre-Capitol Recordings
When I had the chance to get a Buck Owens album I was ecstatic since "The Life & Times" was something that I had just finished seeing on television. Having already heard such songs as "Act Naturally," and "I've Got a Tiger By The Tail," on the radio, I decided that I wanted more.
From struggling with a relationship without emotion in "It Don't Show On Me," to the rock and roll sounding "Hot Dog" and "Rhythm and Booze," you get to hear a completely different side to Buck that is almost unrecognizable. Something neat on the last song is the studio chatter in "Blue Love." You can hear Buck giving out instructions as to how he wants the music to be played.
I would think that this would become somewhat of a collector's item in the future and I am glad I have it to listen to whenever the mood hits.
