George Strait - Carrying Your Love With Me
After the wild success of his 1996 release, Blue Clear Sky, one could assume that George would just rest on his laurels and record the same styled album. Well, some songs may sound similar but that's because the man himself hasn't changed. In 1997, George again attained the CMA award for being the Top Male Vocalist and for recording the "Album Of The Year." The album also was the ACM Album of the Year in 1998.
The album opens up with the No. 1 singles "Round About Way," "Carrying Your Love With Me" and "One Night At A Time." Continuing his success of having four hits off of an album, George scored again with a stunning remake of the Vern Gosdin classic "Today My World Slipped Away." Other standout tracks include "The Nerve" and "A Real Good Place To Start."
With another four hits and some standout album tracks, Carrying Your Love With Me is an album that shouldn't be left out of any country fans collection.
