Guide Review
Clint Black - Greatest Hits
It's quite amazing that until this CD, with "Desperado," every song included on a Clint Black CD was written or co-written by himself. "Like The Rain" was the first single and eighth number one from this collection. Other songs not available anywhere else are: "Wherever You Go," and "Cadillac Jack Favor." "Cadillac Jack Favor" was the theme to Clint's first lead acting role. He played Jack Favor in a true story.

With the eight number one singles, it's not hard to understand how someone could have a Greatest Hits CD. Clint's first CD alone contained five number one singles off of it, two of which are featured here, "Killin' Time," and "A Better Man." Another nugget featured in this collection is the fine duet with Wynonna Judd, "A Bad Goodbye."

With the eight (8) number ones and 8 other fine tracks, Clint has a hit packed CD. Add to that that "Like The Rain," contains the first background vocals by his wife, Lisa Hartman-Black, and Clint has succesfully closed the first chapter of his career.
