Guide Review
Chris Knight - A Pretty Good Guy
His first album (self titled), netted major airplay around Texas with such songs as "It Ain't Easy Being Me" (which John Anderson also performed on his "Nobody's Got It All" Disc), "Framed," and "Summer of 75."

This being his second album, he had quite the time trying to live up to the hype "Chris Knight" received, and such songs as "Becky's Bible," "Down The River" (which has got to be the best story song ever written), and "The Lord's Highway" really live up to and surpass the standard set in his first album.

I am very pleased that Chris has decided not to abandon the songs that are quite a ways away from being "Politically Correct." These twelve songs range anywhere from shooting a man to how believing in the Lord is the best thing of all and I hope that people will not let these subjects scare them away from getting this fantastic album; it helps us remember that life is not exactly perfect all the time.
