Trace Adkins - Chrome
Chrome was released by the Capitol Record label and produced by Trey Bruce and Dann Huff. The release date came within a few weeks after Trace became a proud daddy again. With the success of the first single release, "I'm Tryin,'" Trace has shown us that he is definitely here to stay.
There is a good mix of traditional, up-tempo and fun in this album. Along with "I'm Tryin'" we also hear songs like "Help Me Understand" and "Once Upon A Fool Ago" that are traditional country to the core. With "Thankful Man" and "And Then There Was You," we get some up-tempo music to tap our toes to. And just to show us he can be a little diverse, he gives us some fun music to listen to like "Chrome" and "Scream."
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this album. Trace proves he can hold his own among the gentlemen of country music. All of the tracks on the album were solid and easy to listen to. It is one that will be played frequently in my CD player.
