Truly one of the surprise success stories from the mid 1990's, Deana Carter's Did I Shave My Legs For This? quickly became one of 1996's biggest selling albums. The first single from the album was the beautiful waltz, "Strawberry Wine." The song went on to win 1997's single of the year and was a multi-week No. 1 hit.
With the first single a strong success, Deana went on to release four other singles from the CD. Each and every one of the singles were Top 40 hits, while most of them were Top 10. The singles are: "We Danced Anyway," "Count Me In," "How Do I Get There," and "Did I Shave My Legs For This?" Two of the tracks, "We Danced Anyway" and "Count Me In" were No. 1 hits.
