Various Artists - Driven
The music that was chosen for the motion picture, Driven encompasses a wide selection of music genres, from pop to country to rap to rhythm and blues. Since I cover country music, I will comment on the songs from country artists, although don't expect traditional sounding country music. Even from Hank Williams grandson.
The country artists represented on this soundtrack include Jo Dee Messina, who sings "Burn," LeAnn Rimes, who singe "Soon," Hank III, who sings "Hang On," Tim McGraw, who sings "Take Me Away From Here," and Steve Holy, who does a cool cover of the Doors classic, "Break On Through."
I loved the movie, and the music is great as well. It makes a great selection of tunes for that roadtrip you've been dying to take.
