Various Artists - Dancin' With Thunder
You take Epic Nashville, add the Professional Bull Riders, Inc., (PBR) and what you get is a new CD called Dancin' With Thunder. Featuring ten songs, each by a different artist, the result is an extreme album that reflects the extreme sport it is based on.
You'll hear quite an eclectic group of artists on this album. Pop star Jewel performs "'Til We Run Out Of Road," which she co-wrote with her fiancé, championship bull rider Ty Murray. The first single for new Epic Nashville group Wild Horses is called "I Will Survive." Charlie Daniels performs "Bull Riding Son Of A Gun." Toby Keith contributes "Gimme 8 Seconds," and Montgomery Gentry redo Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive," and succeed in making it their own.
All in all, I'd have to say I really enjoyed this CD. The songs reflect what I could only imagine what the life a PBR member is like: hectic, dangerous, completely understated, with extreme highs and severe lows... but a whole lot of fun all the same.
