Guide Review
Garth Brooks - Garth Brooks
By now if you don't know who Garth Brooks is, then you aren't a country music fan. What Sinatra was to big band, what Elvis was to rock & roll, and what the Beatles are to popular music, Garth Brooks is to country music. This self-titled CD was his first and perhaps can be called his finest album.

Possessing four hit singles, Garth Brooks was the rare CD that was an instant success after its release. The biggest hits on the CD are the great ballads {"If Tomorrow Never Comes" and Garth's signature song, "The Dance"), and the mid-tempo song about a rodeo cowboy feeling his age "Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old)."

If you are looking for one of the finest albums to ever be released by any country music artist, then pick up Garth Brooks' self-titled 1989 release.
