Guide Review
Garth Brooks - Garth Brooks and the magic of Christmas
Fans of Garth might possibly be disappointed in this album if they thought it was going to be a country CD. While it's not done ala "Gaines" it's not done likewise in the Garth-style that has endeared him to millions of fans.

This album was released in 2000, but added to the album in 2001 are three new songs from the upcoming movie, Call Me Claus, starring Whoopie Goldberg. They are "Mary Had a Little Lamb" with Trisha Yearwood, "Call Me Claus," and "Zat You Santa?"

Several songs are carried over from Garth's original Christmas album, Beyond the Season. These are "White Christmas," which was remixed for this album, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," and the classic, "Go Tell It On The Mountain."

A definite choice to add to your Christmas collection, whether you are a Garth fan or not. He's done a wonderful job.
