Joe Diffie - In Another World
Joe Diffie has been around for a long time and it is amazing how he keeps churning out great songs with every release. The songs contained on the In Another World album are not light and fluffy, but are deep and make a person think about what is happening in the lyrics.
The unique and cosmic sounding title track (and first single) makes you feel as though you are floating around trying to find your way to another world and the song must have found one that was called "Success" because it landed at number ten on the Billboard charts. "This Pretender" is the second and most recent single released to radio and this up-tempo tune is sure to be another hit for Joe.
Usually when a person releases any album that is higher than his fifth, the new and fresh ideas seem to dwindle, but that is not the case with In Another World. Old and new fans alike should pick this one up and enjoy the "Honky-Tonk Attitude" and sentimental emotion found throughout.
