Guide Review
Jack Ingram - Hey You
Jack Ingram is one of those artists that are hard to figure. Is he country? Is he a folk singer? Is he a rock and roll singer? The answer? He's all of them rolled into one concoction. The music is catchy and most important, like fellow Texan Pat Green, its pure fun.

With songs like the opener "Biloxi," to the roadhouse blues "Barbie Doll," this is one CD that you will find yourself singing along to. Hey You sounds like a countrier version of a Tom Petty song. "Anymore Good Loving" is a song with a sound right out of a honky-tonk club.

When looking for some essential Alt-Country or the more popular term, Americana music, take a look at Jack Ingram.
