Joe Diffie - Joe Diffie
Even though his previous CD, Twice Upon A Time wasn't a hit record, Epic Records decided to "stick" with Joe Diffie and release a greatest hits package. Containing nine of his biggest hits, the CD also contained three other songs that were designed to be singles from the CD.
While "Texas Sized Heartache" became a huge hit for Joe the other two new songs, "Poor Me," and "Hurt Me All The Time" were not. Still, that being said, the one single was enough to propel people to buy this CD and realize that Joe is a fine singer who is often described as a "singer's singer."
Some of the better tracks include the sweet "So Help Me Girl," the fun "Pickup Man," Bigger Than The Beatles," the outlandish "Third Rock From The Sun" and the biographical "Home." With these songs and the other hits, this CD is a great introduction into the wonderful songs by Joe Diffie.
