Guide Review
John Michael Montgomery - Life's a Dance
In 1992 John Michael Montgomery burst on to the country music scene with his "Beer and Bones." After that song was a hit, also remixed for the ever-hot dance clubs, John Michael released what I'd call his best song he's ever done, "Life's A Dance." John Michael's first No. 1 hit was quickly followed by "I Love The Way You Love Me." Written by country artist Victoria Shaw (who also worte "The River."), that song was also a No. 1 hit.

The rest of the album is filled with songs that are neo classics. In fact, Takin' Off The Edge was recently included on Kevin Denney's new self-titled debut. My favorite tracks besides the singles are "Dream On Texas Ladies," "Line On Love" and "Nickels And Dimes And Love."

With the three hugely successful singles and some stellar "filler" tracks, "Life's A Dance" is an impressive album for any artist, especially for a debut artist.
