Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster in Maverick
The story is simple. The hero (Gibson) is trying to get to a big gambling tournament and he needs to make a few thousand dollars more before he gets there. The fun stuff is in all the mishaps he encounters along the way. The bank robbery, the hanging and the Indian 'attack' will keep you on the edge of your seat one second, and laughing the next.
You're sure to recognize some of the 'cheaters' thrown off the gambling boat, and the last hand in the game will leave you wondering. Then the final twists at the end will bring it all together.
Accompanying this splendid group of actors is a superior score of music including songs by Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence and Vince Gill.
