Martina McBride - Emotion
After obsessively listening to her previous album, Evolution, for a full year (nonstop), I decided that when the time came, I would have to buy her next album. Once I bought it and took my first listen, I instantly became so glad that I purchased this collection of songs.
From this album there were four total singles released to radio: "I Love You," a tune that was also on the Runaway Bride Soundtrack, "Love's The Only House," letting us know that we all need to show a little bit of compassion to make the world a better place, "There You Are," showing how much a woman can appreciate her husband, and "It's My Time," an empowering song that lets women know that they do not have to take any guff from men and they can shine on their own, if need be.
When you take a look at Martina, you might think that she would be a softer sounding singer, and maybe even a little shy. Well, surprise, that is not the case at all, with her powerful voice she captivates and draws all eyes to her music and entertains like nobody's business.
