Guide Review
Sara Evans - No Place That Far
This album was Sara's second release, and the title track, a duet with Vince Gill became her first number one song. Again, Sara includes traditional songs, as she had on her first album, but also throws in a little contemporary sound for radio play, and the combination is a winner.

Sara has help on this album from Alison Krauss, George Jones, and Martina McBride, as well as her two sisters for background vocals, and the combinations are good ones. Sara's smooth velvety voice blends well with all of them.

Although more contemporary than her debut, listening to Sara, you have no doubt that her heart is in country music, and we hope she always stays right where she belongs.
