Chris Cagle - Play It Loud
This was a wonderful album when it was originally released on the now defunct Virgin Nashville label in 2000. When Capital re-released it in 2001, they added two new songs, and gave Cagleheads even more to love. One of the two new songs became Chris' first No. 1 song ("I Breathe In, I Breathe Out.") The second, called "Are You Ever Gonna Love Me" is a gorgeous ballad that talks about one person feeling more strongly about the other one, and they ask the other person if they'll ever love them the same way. "Are you ever gonna need me, like I need you? Are you ever gonna want me, the way I want you to?"
Chris co-wrote 9 of the twelve songs on this re-release, including the No. 1, "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out." The songs on the album range from kickin' country rockers to gentle ballads and everything in between.
You definitely need to play this on your CD Rom to see the the special features in store. Once you insert the CD in your CD Rom, you'll see a splash screen with some video from "My Love Goes On And On" and hear part of the song. Then you'll get a menu with several options. You can watch Chris' video for "Laredo," read what Chris has to say about himself, musically and personally, see his thoughts on the songs on the CD, watch a video of Chris behind the scenes on the road, and connect to both Capitol-Nashville, and Chris' Official website.
