One of the most successful Country Music singers ever, Reba McEntire is now known by one name, Reba. The CD, Read My Mind was released in 1994 after her wildly successful Greatest Hits Volume II album. Never known as one who will shy away from controversial subjects in her songs, Reba tackled the AIDS crisis with her hit single "She Thinks His Name Was John." The song is about a woman who gets the AIDS virus from a one night stand, and the woman doesn't even know what the man's name was.
There are four other wildly successful singles. The singles are: "Why Haven't I Heard From You," "And Still," "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter," and the beautiful "Till You Love Me." While every track is great, the best song not to hit the charts, from this CD, is "I Won't Stand In Line."
With five of the ten tracks Top 10 Hits and Reba's successful history, you cannot go wrong when buying a Reba CD. This CD is a nice slice of the way Country Music sounded in 1994.
