Ricochet - Ricochet
From the moment "What Do I Know" blasted out of the radio speakers, I knew Ricochet was a band who had some great harmonic vocals. Five of the six members sing harmonies on the chorus. After that song became a hit, "Daddy's Money" was released and became the band's first, and so far only, No. 1 hit at Billboard. The third single was another Top Ten hit, "Love Is Stronger Than Pride."
Following that single was the marginally successful single "Ease My Troubled Mind." Surprisingly the band didn't release "I Can't Dance" as a single. The other tracks are mostly uptempo ode's to love.
With it's nice mixture of harmonies with a group that actually plays their instruments, Ricochet's self-titled debut is a nice addition to any collection.
