Guide Review
Riders in the Sky - Always Drink Upstream From The Herd
Riders in the Sky have been singing together since the early 70's, and they're still going strong. The band consists of Ranger Doug, Woody Paul, and Too Slim.

This album, released in 1995 is my favorite. Along with familiar western songs like "Take Me Back To My Boots and Saddle," and "Rawhide," you'll find new songs written by the members of the group, "Riding The Winds of the West," "Desert Serenade," both by Ranger Doug, and the humorous "Trail Tip Song," which was written by Too Slim.

For those that like the old Western sound, this album is a treat, plus there is something for the funnybone in the "Trail Tip Song." The Riders' harmonies are wonderful, and the album is one I highly recommend.
