Garth Brooks - Scarecrow
Scarecrow is Garth's first album of new music in four years, and the wait has been long but it's well worth it with this package of music.
Included are the duets with George Jones, "Beer Run"), and Trisha Yearwood, ("Squeeze Me In.") Also, Garth pays tribute to Billy Joel with "Mr. Midnight," and the Beatles with "Wrapped Up In You," the first single from the album. "Rodeo or Mexico" is another fun song about a rodeo guy that falls in love with a Mexican girl. Another one that would make a good single. But my favorite has to be "Big Money," where Garth talks about being nice to your foolish relatives, cuz they just might leave you in their wills.
I hope that Garth will record more music, but if this is Garth's last album, I would have to say it's right up there with "No Fences" and "Ropin' The Wind," and a worthy departure album.
